Founded in 1994 and headquartered in London, Threadneedle is fully-owned by Ameriprise Financial, a publicly quoted investment company, which is listed on the NYSE.

Threadneedle has grown steadily to become one of the largest fund management firms in the UK with USD124.6 billion* of assets under management. We also have a broad presence in Europe, with offices in 10 countries. In 2007 the Threadneedle brand was launched in Asia, with the opening of a Hong Kong office - and in 2008 the company expanded into the US market.
