Threadneedle, leading global asset manager, has appointed David Donora as Executive Director to set up a new Commodities team at Threadneedle. David will be responsible for setting up and growing a commodities business and will report to William Frewen, Threadneedle’s Head of Fixed Income. Prior to joining Threadneedle, David worked for MF Global UK Ltd (part of Man Group plc) as Head of Structured OTC Derivatives. He has also worked for Refco Overseas Ltd as Head of OTC Derivatives. William Frewen, Head of Fixed Income, said: “We are pleased to have David on board as our first appointment dealing solely in commodities. He has an excellent background in commodities and derivatives to help us start a new growth area of our business.
