    Threadneedle has launched the Threadneedle (Lux) US Contrarian Core Equities Fund in its Luxembourg SICAV range. The fund is managed by Guy W Pope, Managing Director and Senior Portfolio Manager at Columbia Management, fellow asset management subsidiary of Ameriprise Financial.

  • Threadneedle announces retirement of Executive Chairman Simon Davies in June 2012

    Threadneedle Investments today announces that Executive Chairman Simon Davies will retire from the company in June 2012. Threadneedle will continue to be led by Chief Executive Officer Crispin Henderson, reporting to Jim Cracchiolo, Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of Ameriprise Financial, Threadneedle's parent company.

  • Threadneedle funds distributed in Sweden through Avanza Bank

    Threadneedle and Avanza Bank, one of Sweden's largest online savings banks, have signed an agreement for the distribution of 23 Threadneedle funds as part of Avanza Bank's product offering. Launched in 1997, Avanza Bank is today one of the largest internet savings banks in Sweden with over 235,000 customers and more than 350,000 accounts.  Avanza Bank mainly targets Swedish private investors, but also offers services for professional day traders and corporate customers.
